Dewatering Outfall at Lupton Lakes
Civil Resources completed an outfall system design and construction for Denver Water. The project included the detailed design of the improvements to cross State Highway 85 consisting of approximately 210 feet of directional bore casing and carrier pipe, a stilling structure and riprap erosion control at the South Platte River. The project also included obtaining:
- two private easements
- a Technical Revision from the Department of Mine Reclamation & Safety
- a Colorado Department of Transportation utility permit
- Colorado Division of Wildlife impact release and
- Army Corp of Engineer’s Nationwide permit.
The design, permits and construction were completed from start to finish within four months.
